I have Scottish ancestors, and I wanted a "fun" name for the clan. I also wanted a clan that protects its clan members. To "Scotchguard" a carpet a liquid protection barrier is applied. Once it dries, it protects the carpet from dirt and wear. So, I thought a fun name for the clan would be "Scotchguard".
A brief history
I started Scotchguard years ago. Originally it was just a clan for me and my nephews, Luke, James, and RJ. Once clan wars started, we thought we would leave Scotchguard to join a large clan for the wars. k$tef was the leader, and from the beginning he made promises he broke, rules he did not follow, and overall just was a very bad leader and the clan was bad because of it. So, I left, and started Scotchguard back up with Luke. My other nephews were younger and lost interest in the game. But Luke and I started recruiting people, and before long we were full at 50 members. To this day I run the clan same as I have always ran it, and its never had a problem not being full. That being said, I always would rather it be a good clan than a large one, and am always seeking the best members for the best clan ever. Its the best clan, and disrespect full, or irresponsible members are not wanted in the clan. Neither are members who are not active. Thus why we always have new people coming and going in search of making it the best ever.

Thanks Boomer! I searched up Scotchguard and there was a Scotchguard 2? Did k$tef start that one?

As in the history, k$tef was a terrible leader. So bad, he even got banned from his own clan after we left. He asked repeatedly to join Scotchguard. I would not allow it as he would bring down Scotchguard the same way he brought down his own clan. As leader of Scotchguard, it is my job to make sure Scotchguard is the best clan ever and then protect it and its members. Not allowing him to join was one way I was protecting the clan.
After understanding he would not be able to join Scotchguard, he started yet another clan and named it Scotchguard2. From what I had hear, it is no better than his last clan.
